JAMMU: To promote Sport Climbing among girls in particular and also to adequately prepare the state women climbers for the forthcoming First Women North Zone Sport Climbing Competition scheduled to held at Indian Mountaineering Foundation, New Delhi, Mountaineering Association of J and K is going to organize a coaching, practice cum selection camp at Sprawling Buds School, Chinore, here from 4th April.
As per a handout issued here on Friday, the Association has fixed Rs 200 per head for a 15-day coaching sessions.
The climbers who excel during the camp may also be deputed for further coaching at International standard climbing walls at Indian Mountaineering Foundation (IMF), New Delhi, the apex body for adventure sports in the country.
