UDHAMPUR: Two persons tried to commit suicide by consuming some poisonous substance on Friday.
According to reports a youth identified as Sanjay Kumar, 24 years, son of Ashok Kumar resident of village Koo Nallha in Udhampur took some poisonous substance. However seeing him unconscious family members shifted him to district hospital Udhampur where timely action saved him.
In another suicide bid a youth identified as Baldev Kumar son of Chuni Lal resident of Mand in Udhampur took some poison substance to end his life. The victim was shifted to district hospital Udhampur where doctors on seeing his condition serious referred him to GMC Jammu. However Udhampur and Rehmbal police have registered cases in both the incidents and began investigation.
