KATRA: Police on Thursday arrested a scooterist and recovered 40 pouches of liquor from his possession.
According to a report, a team from Police Naka Panthal headed by In-Charge Naka during checking recovered 40 poly pouches of J and K Excise liquor from the possession of one scooterist namely Bhag Singh son of Jagan Nath resident of Hansali Katra Tehsil Katra District Reasi.
The accused person has been arrested and pouches seized. The scooter bearing registration No.JK14C 7451 which was used for transportation of illegal liquor has also been seized.
A case under FIR No. 76/2015 section 48-A Excise Act was registered at Police Station Katra.
