ReT teachers demand salary
STATE TIMES NEWS
RAJOURI: General Secretary Jammu and Kashmir Rehbar-e-Taleem (ReT) teachers Forum Jahanger Alam Khan said that Government has again failed to release SSA salary of ReT teachers on the occasion of Diwali. Khan warned the centre as well as State Government to release SSA salaries before Diwali or face agitation.
He further added that Government must stop this drama of percentage of 90:10, 50:50 and other ratios for SSA salaries. Khan said that SSA salaries should be 100 per cent either from State treasuries or from Central Government’s chest. He said that after regularisation ReT teachers become general line teachers and their salaries need be drawn from State Treasury. Khan further said that Government is playing dilly-dallying tactics with 70,000 ReTs by not implementing the transfer orders in favour of ReTs as per the direction of HC and approved by Cabinet in respect of regularized ReTs.
