JAMMU: Story telling is a great activity as it involves both the speaker and the listener. In the creation of content, it is a valuable and necessary skill. Creating own stories help a child develop his/her emotions and feelings. They invoke in them the power of imagination and creativity. The Primary Wing of the JK Public School Kunjwani organised ‘Kahani Banao Pratiyogita’ to enhance the intra-personal and inter-personal skills among the children. Classes I to V participated in this activity. Each class was provided with different topics. The children created their own stories to tell in the classes. The activity was interactive and helped the children to reach their potential. The students and teacher were appreciated for their efforts and divergent thinking by the principal and headmistress of the school. They said that these activities make the teaching learning process more enjoyable and help children to expand their mental horizon.
