JAMMU: Young handball player of the State, Varinder Singh has been selected to be part of the under-21 Indian team heading for Junior IHF Trophy to be held at Dhaka in Bangladesh from 9th to 13th October.
As per a handout issued by the J and K Handball Association, here on Tuesday, Varinder was selected on the basis of his performance at the zonal and national level competitions held in the recent past.
Meanwhile, General Secretary of the Association, Ashwani Kumar Raina wished Varinder all success in the forthcoming event.
