JAMMU: The NCC cadets of GGM Science College brought laurels to the college and the J and K NCC Directorate by participating in the Thal Sena Camp (TSC) held at New Delhi from 19th to 29th September, 2016.
A total of eleven cadets of the college were selected out of thirty three cadets of the Senior Division of J and K Directorate, achieving the distinction of maximum selections from any college of the State.
The cadets participated in different activities like obstacle training, tug of
war, tent pitching, map reading, field craft and battle craft, judging distance, health and hygiene and shooting.
The cadets are Rohit Singh, Amandeep Jamwal, Amandeep, Akhil Sharma, Rumit Sharma, Gourav Sharma, Mehul Rajput, Sanjeev Kumar, Raghav Sharma, Tenzin Namgyal, Mahrana Ghulab Singh and Anupam Kumari.
Principal, GGM Science College, Jammu Dr. Ajeet Angral congratulated the cadets and ANO 2 J and K NCC Boys Bn Dr. Jagjeet Singh, ANO 2 J and K Girls Bn Dr. Rabia Javed for their achievement.
