LAHDC to conduct Patwari, Class-IV interviews in Jammu also

LEH: Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council (LAHDC), Leh, has scheduled parallel interviews for shortlisted candidates of Patwari and Class- IV posts of the district in Jammu also in view of a large numbers of students residing there.
The scheduled dates for conduct of interviews have been fixed by LAHDC-SSRB Leh. According to which interviews for Patwaris will be held on 9th and 10th November at Leh in the Office Chambar of Additional Deputy Commissioner and in Jammu the interviews will be held on 11th and 12th November at VIP Guest House, near Bahu Plaza Jammu. Interviews for Class-IV shortlisted candidates in Jammu will be held on 13th November and for candidates in Leh interviews will be held on 17th and 18th of November. Venues will remain the same in Jammu as well as in Leh for interviews for both posts.
Candidates preferring interviews in Jammu are advised to register their names with LAHDC-SSRB before 5th November so as to enable officials to notify roll number wise breakup of candidates by 6th November.
It is pertinent to mention here that students studying in Jammu have recently protested against LAHDC for not opening an exam centre in Jammu for written tests for teachers and VLWs as there are hundreds of Ladakhi students studying in Jammu citing an instance of conducting once in Jammu.
Secretary LAHDC-SSRB made it clear written test in Jammu was not manageable as it would require hundreds of man power, be it policemen or government employees but for the interviews it is possible as it requires only few officials to fly to Jammu.
