POONCH: An Inter School Quiz Competition for Schools of Jhallas was organised on the topics ‘History and Culture of J and K, Current Affairs and General Knowledge, Science and Technology, Sports and Games’ under the aegis of Krishna Ghati Brigade by Nangi Tekri Battalion at Jhallas Camp.
Prof Mussaraf Hussain Shah, Vice Principal Govt Degree College was the Chief Guest on the occasion. As many as 200 students from various schools including Govt High School, Jhallas, Govt Middle School, Jhallas, Baba Garib Das Academy, Salotri, Modern United Academy, Jhallas and Nirmala Convent School, Jhallas participated in the event in which Nirmala Convent School, Jhallas, Govt Middle School, Jhallas and Modern United Academy, Jhallas were declared first, second and third respectively.
The participants were tested by challenging questions including questions on J and K State, audio-visual round and buzzer round. All participants expressed their views on the subject which were appreciated by all those present.
