UDHAMPUR: Unprecedented rain once again effected road transportation on National Highway between Udhampur and Chenani and part of district Doda on Wednesday. Due to sudden rain in the afternoon landslide hit the highway near village Kheri just 5 km away from the city towards Srinagar which badly affected the vehicular movement till late evening. However Additional SP Khalil Ahmad Poswal along with police contingents swung into action and regulated the traffic and deployed police personnel to avert untoward incident.
GREF task force also pressed machinery to remove the boulders and mud from the road in order to restore traffic movement.
