SAMBA: In a significant development dozens of political workers from various political parties including a former Tehsildar Vidhi Chander along with his supporters joined National Conference in a public meeting held in Purmandal on Tuesday in the presence of Senior NC Leader and Candidate from Samba Satwant Kaur Dogra.
Satwant garlanded the new entrants and welcomed them in the party fold. She said that with each joining the movement for change it is getting strengthened in Samba Constituency and it is a clear indication that the people have decided to oust the sitting MLA. She welcomed the decision of various political activists in strengthening the hands of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah, saying this will certainly go a long way in fulfilling the agenda set for development of Samba.
Prominent amongst those present include Sarpanch Mohd Rashid, Baldev Raj, Munshi Ram Bhagat, Master Govind Ram, Mohd Anif, Raj Kumar, Narinder, Ramesh Kumar and Master Paras Ram.
