BHADARWAH: Bhadarwah Police arrested an alleged drug peddler and recovered 300 grams of Charas from his possession. The youth, identified as Parvez Ahmed Lone, son of Abdul Razzak Lone, resident of Doki, Tehsil-Chiralla, Doda, was arrested from Chinar Mohalla, Bhadarwah by police during Naka laid by police party led by SHO Bhadarwah Jatinder Sambyal under the supervision of SDPO Bhadarwah Brijesh Sharma and SSP Doda Mohammad Shabir. “We arrested Parvez Ahmed with 300 gram of Charas,” police said. “We have started a special drive against drug peddlers and there will be some more arrests in coming days,” said SDPO Bhadarwah Brijesh Sharma. A case vide FIR No 66/2017 under section 8/20 NDPS Act has been registered against the accused at Police Station Bhadarwah and further investigation is going on.
