JAMMU: Department of Computer Sciences won the inter-department cricket tournament which was organised by the Institute of Management Sciences (IMS), here on Friday.
In the title clash, 12 overs a side, Computer Sciences trounced Department of Management Sciences by a margin of 17 runs.
Director IMS, Prof. J.R Dhotra presented the title trophy to the winning team of Department of Computer Sciences. He further emphasised that students must take keen interest in sport in order to improve overall personality.
The event was organised by the Sports Club of IMS under the supervision of Assistant Professor- cum- Sports Club member, IMS Harpreet Singh and Assistant Professor-cum-Sports Club Member, IMS, Vivek Sanson.
