UDHAMPUR: Taking serious cognisance of the increasing road accidents especially of two wheelers, Udhampur Police on Friday launched special drive on the direction of DIG Udhampur-Reasi Surinder Gupta under the supervision of newly posted SP Udhampur Shalinder Mishra against two wheeler riders who were violating the traffic norms. During special drive, police seized more than 100 two wheelers while Challand over 230 in various Sections of Traffic Rules violations. During drive police also made the riders aware not to ply two wheelers without crash helmet in any circumstances At some places SP Shalindera Mishra personally supervising drive along with Addl SP and Dy. SP SS Baloria.
