With four phases of the ongoing five-phased elections to Jammu and Kashmir Legislative Assembly over, all the major political players like National Conference, Congress, BJP and PDP are claiming victory and even thanking the people for their support to enable them to form a ‘stable government’. Understandably, the parties are within their rights to keep up the morale of cadre by screaming victory but that too has to be within the parameters of realism. If all of them have won, who the hell has then lost?
Is it a matter of pride or shame for discredited politicians to assume the roles of astrologers and keep patting their backs unmindful of what the people have left for them in the EVMs?
