Despite being out of power, the former BJP ministers are continuing with all their erstwhile perks like vehicles, security escorts, enhanced security cover, secretarial assistance and what not. They continue to behave like uncrowned kings and enjoy all the official courtesies, as the bureaucracy remains under their grip due to political uncertainty and stalemate.
Is it a matter of pride or shame for the dumped ministers of ‘the party with difference’ to go on with false pomp and show and not to emulate former Deputy Chief Minister who moved out of his official residence the day Omar Abdullah-led government resigned after the poll debacle?
