Day after Prime Minister Narendra Modi left Srinagar after his successful election rally, the perplexing ruling coalition partners seem to be scratching poles in order to save their faces and to desperately let the people of Kashmir believe that Modi had a flop show. Faced with credibility deficit, there seems to be no-takers for the ‘permutations and combinations’ being worked out by the Congress and National Conference with other players set to play a big knock-out during the concluding phases of current elections.
Is it a matter of pride or shame for the coalition partners to play to galleries instead of having a serious introspection as to where they erred all these years?
