Pride or Shame

Taking queue from Sheikh Abdullah’s famous rhetoric ‘Izzat-u-Abroo’, PDP Patron Mufti Mohammed Sayeed has told his Jammu audience that his party’s prime agenda is to protect dignity and honour of the people of the State. This generally remains theme of the Kashmir centric politicians from all the hues. However, they seldom identify the elements who pose threat to the honour and dignity of people.
Is it a matter of pride or shame for politicians to leave room for ambiguity, as the fact remains that none other than the politicians themselves were actually trampling the honour and dignity of common masses just to be relevant and in power?
