Despite Bharatiya Janata Party making it clear that it is not going to rake up repealing of Article 370 of the Constitution of India during the ongoing Assembly elections in Jammu and Kashmir, the Kashmir centric parties like Congress, Peoples Democratic Party and National Conference leaves no occasion to flare up this issue in the public domain. Omar Abdullah wants BJP to clarify its stand on this Article, Congress rues about the saffron party making use of this ‘contentious’ issue during elections while PDP says the special provision can’t be abrogated at all.
Is it a matter of pride or shame for politicians to abuse BJP over the issue of Article 370 but make its optimum use for seeking votes?
