Days after Parvez Musharraf’s advice to Pakistan Government for inciting those fighting against India, the Chairman of the ‘Kashmir Committee’ Ram Jethmalani has advocated Musharraf formula on Kashmir. After his meeting with chronic Kashmiri secessionists, Jethmalani revealed that he had made amends to Musharraf formula by insisting on secular democracy in both sides of the Valley. What an ideal situation. The PoK is almost free of non-Muslims and the miniscule Hindu population of Kashmir has been hounded out by lackeys of the radical generals and Pakistani rulers two and half decades earlier. So, does ‘secular-democracy’ retain any meaning in radicalised greater Kashmir?
Is it a matter of pride or shame for Indian activists to ignore ground realities and basic facts on Kashmir while convalescing in the serene environs during their leisure trips?
