At a time when elections are
round the corner and
Pakistani lackeys in Kashmir
are calling shots, spitting
venom against India, crying
hoarse over so-called human
rights violation, terming the
mainstream leaders as puppets,
instigating and coercing
the people not to participate
in the democratic exercise
scheduled from next month,
the People’s Democratic
Party patron Mufti
Mohammad Sayeed has gone
beyond the board in advocating
negotiations with militant
and Hurriyat leadership for
‘resolution of Kashmir’.
Is it a matter of pride or
shame for the mainstream
leaders to accord respectability
and acceptability to chronic
anti-national elements
rather than mobolising their
cadre to isolate them from
the Kashmir scene?
