Kashmir politics is becoming murkier than the Dal waters. Amid the intermittent turns and twists in the wake of complex political situation unfolded by recent assembly elections, National Conference has volunteered its support to People’s Democratic Party, an outfit which they fought tooth and nail during the elections. No invective was left by the leaders of these two parties to show-down each other during the high pitch campaigning across the State. And, after getting drubbing, an olive branch was being offered by the NC which victorious PDP has rudely declined.
Is it a matter of pride or shame for the National Conference to offer unsolicited support to arch rival PDP just to keep the Bharatiya Janata Party at a bay, despite having massive mandate from Jammu?
