Seven more lives have perished on killer roads, sending those at helm to top gear in giving instructions for better road regulations. The road tsunami has taken more lives than terrorism of over two and half decades in Jammu and Kashmir. While people are getting killed in maddening traffic accidents, the Men in Khaki are itching for wearing Blues, not for regulating the traffic but for ‘managing’ themselves and their ‘mentors’. The day of shedding crocodile tears will pass and the commuters will continue to fall like dry leaves.
Is it a matter of pride or shame for those ruling the State to respond the alarming situation by just issuing sermons on streamlining the system, which is getting deteriorated with each passing day?
