Instead of strengthening the bonds of amity and unity between various segments of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh population, the just concluded elections have polarised the political situation in the State to such an extent where the government formation is becoming ticklish hour after hour. The prospect of the new government has prompted the elements, other than secessionist and separatist, to openly talk against a community and a region. This has not happened even during the heightened secessionist movement?
Is it a matter of pride or shame for so-called mainstream parties to vitiate the atmosphere beyond any repair in a bid to undermine the mandate coming from a particular region?
