Supreme Court ruling over use of photos in government advertisements has come as a rude shock to BJP Ministers in Jammu and Kashmir, who miss no opportunity to get their larger than life size cut-outs displayed at prime sites and squares. Pay a visit to GMC or any other premier health institution in the winter capital, a senior minister’s larger than life size flexes will reveal how sadistically the poor tax-payers hard earned money is spilled down the drain.
Is it a matter of pride or shame for ruling politicians to take vicarious pleasure in getting their photos displayed all over despite knowing well that nobody except their families would be pleased or interested in seeing their ‘handsome’ faces?
