Never ever had BJP endorsed the transfer of power projects, constructed by National Hydel Projects Corporation, to Jammu and Kashmir prior to forming coalition government with Peoples’ Democratic Party? The Kashmir centric leaders have on record described NHPC as new manifestation of East India Company. A so-called organization of Kashmir apart from secessionists had even accused the NHPC, a Government of India PSU, of usurping the ‘resources of Kashmiri nation’.
Is it a matter of pride or shame for the same BJP now to swear that no power can halt the return of power projects to the State just to remain glued to power?
