Pompous and hypocrite Syed Ali Shah Geelani has once again used the controversy over his passport to exploit Kashmiri sentiment. He says he is not Indian by birth; he is not Pakistani either because there was no country like that prior to 1947 when he was born. At that point of time the entire sub-continent was either Hindustan or India. If public memory is not so short, he used to claim during his days as
‘MLA’ that his ancestors had come from Geelan, somewhere in Iran. If so then his domicile is suspect. And, such people are required to be repatriated, sooner the better. Is it a matter of pride or shame for secessionists, who eulogise Jihad as holy war and swear by high moral grandstanding, to speak lies day in and day out to deceive the people, who have been left to die for their whims and fantasies?
