SURANKOTE: Heavy rainfall occurred in Pir Panjal region especially Poonch District. The flood has caused a great loss to life and property. The road connectivity and electricity in the whole district is scrapped due to the rainfall.
In a Press statement issued to media, Shahnawaz Choudhary, State President of Youth Congress has demanded the immediate restoration of road connectivity and Power Supply. Shahnawaz has said that the government should take immediate action and try to restore life at the earliest.
It is worthwhile to mention here that Shahnawaz choudhary took the matter to the local administration and demanded the action at the earliest. He also demanded compensation to those who lost lives of their family members and property in the flood.
