SURANKOTE : Heavy rainfall occurred in Pir Panjal region especially in Poonch District which has scrapped the road connectivity, power supply and water supply besides loss of lives and property. The life of a common man has become miserable due to continued rain for the last four days.
In a Press statement issued to media, Shahnawaz Choudhary, State President of Youth Congress has demanded immediate restoration of road connectivity and power supply. He said that the government should take immediate action and try to restore life at the earliest.
Shahnawaz took up the matter with the local administration and demanded action to promote relief. He also demanded compensation to those who their family members and property in the flood.
