R S PURA : The residents of various villages dependent on Kullian – Lambra Road have strongly protested against PWD for abandoning the road work.
The villagers led by National Conference Block President Darshan Singh during their protest at village Khour said that the PWD has abandoned the work in Kirpind area due to which the people continue to suffer.
They said that the condition of untouched road is most dilapidated.
The protesters raised slogans against the department and the government for its failure to complete the developmental works.
Darshan Singh urged the Chief Engineer PWD to issue suitable instructions to the concerned executives to complete the balance of road work at the earliest.
Prominent among those present include Satpal Mandi, Thoru Ram, Joginder Kukmar and Bhushan lal.
