JAMMU: Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra special van reached Panchayat Sunjwan Upper of Block Satwari on Wednesday amid a warm welcome by the members of the Swagat Committee, Block Development Officer Satwari, Sandeep Kumar Gupta and PRI members in presence of officials of line departments and local public.
The VBSY Van spread the message of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his vision of making India a developed nation by 2047, the 100th year of Independence.
The event began with the National Anthem and was followed by cultural performances by the students of GHS Chatta. Representatives of the line departments, manning departmental stalls, explained the various schemes and programmes run by the government for the public welfare. They also distributed pamphlets and brochures to the people and answered their queries.
At the event, the AYUSHMAN Golden Cards were distributed to the eligible beneficiaries. Certificates of appreciation were also distributed among Progressive Farmers. Sanction letters of old age and widow pensions were also handed over to the deserving applicants on the spot.
As part of the nationwide Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, free health camps were held in Jammu.
Organised under the guidance of Dr. Monika Kotwal, Block Medical Officer, R.S Pura, the camps took place at Government Boys Middle School Chohala and Panchayat Kotli Gana Bana. Doctors offered free checkups for various health concerns, including common illnesses like diabetes, blood pressure and anemia.
Similar health camps were also held in Janipur under the supervision of a team from UPHC Janipur. Here too, free screenings and counselling were offered, along with immediate assistance through free medicines and quick issuance of ABHA cards, simplifying access to government healthcare benefits.
The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra is more than just a health initiative. It’s a comprehensive program that aims to empower the masses through education and awareness.
SRINAGAR: As a part of ongoing Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, awareness programmes continues in Srinagar District to empower the people by making them aware about the Government sponsored flagship programmes. The Horticulture Department Srinagar on Wednesday set up awareness camps in Khonmoh Block of Srinagar District.
During the camps held at Panchayas of Khonmoh Block, the Officers of the line Departments underscores the importance of bringing government schemes closer to communities, igniting a spirit of development and reach the unreached beneficiaries.
BUDGAM: The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) campaign goes on in full swing across the District Budgam. With locals overwhelmingly participating in the activities, the events held at all Panchayat halqas across Block Sukhnag and others witnessed impressive gatherings.
During the nationwide outreach initiative aimed at informing and empowering citizens about the Centre’s flagship schemes, a series of activities including Sankalp pledge ceremonies, sports activities, awareness by concerned officials on their department wise schemes, telecasting of Prime Minister’s message, screening of movies on schemes and cultural events were held at all venues during the programme.
GANDERBAL: Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) on reached 06 more Panchayats of block Lar to sensitize the people, besides saturating the Centrally Sponsored Schemes in these Panchayats.
On the 12th day, the Yatra traversed 6 Panchayats of block Lar including Chuntwaliwar-A, Watlar-A, Theeru, Khranihama, Repora-A and Barsoo.
IEC Vans received a rousing welcome by PRIs, senior citizens, youth, and local residents on its arrival in these Panchayats.
BANDIPORA: VBSY reached 10 more Panchayats of district Bandipora to sensitize the people, besides saturating the Centrally Sponsored Schemes (CSSs) in every nook and corner of the district.
Nodal Officer IEC Van, Bilal Ahmad Mir, who is also ARTO/DIO Bandipora, informed that the VBSY campaign traversed Panchayat Chattibanday-A, Chattibanday-B, Chattibanday-C, Ahmshreif, Athwatoo, Sunerwani, Sunerwani-B, Baharabad-A, Baharabad-B, and Zalpora in district Bandipora on Wednesday.
PULWAMA: The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY), a transformative initiative aimed at reaching the unreached and saturating government schemes, unfolded across 10 Panchayats in the district on Wednesday.
The impactful journey has already covered around 116 Panchayats till date in the District, and in this regard a grand function was held under Deputy Commissioner (DC) Pulwama, Dr.Basharat Qayoom at Pinglena.
The event saw enthusiastic participation from the community, highlighting the success of various beneficiary-oriented schemes.
SHOPIAN: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Shopian, Faz Lul Haseeb, accompanied by SSP, Shopian, Tanushree visited Chitragam tehsil of the district and took part in Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) programme, there.
At the outset, the DC inspected stalls displayed by various line departments showcasing beneficiaries oriented schemes so that the people of the area get knowledge of schemes and avail these schemes meant for the wellbeing of the general public.
Meanwhile, the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) campaign reached 6 Panchayats viz. Panchayat Urpara-A, Urpara-B, Chitragam-A, Chitragam-B, Children and Sheikhpura of Block Chitragam, gaining further momentum in the district. People enthusiastically welcomed VBSY at each respective location.
KUPWARA: The Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY), has picked pace in frontier Kupwara district by covering 22 Panchayats of Nutnoosa, Mawar Qalamabad and Langate blocks under the campaign.
The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kupwara, Ayushi Sudan presided over a mega event of VBSY at Government Higher Secondary school Kandi Khass in Panchayt Halqa Kandi A.
Meanwhile VBSY was held at panchayats of Jagerpora, Keegam, Pohrupith, Teerana, Yahama A, Unisoo, Khanoo, Babgund, Pringoo, Wahipora, Kawari, Shatgund Bala, Nutnoosa A, Kultoora, Yaroo, Shanoo, Yahama B, Shahnagri, Nutnoosa B, Kandi B, Guloora and Nowgam B.
KULGAM: Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) is going on in full swing in district Kulgam with a programme started in 11 more panchayats of Qaimoo block on day 12th.
Panchayat Halqas including Sonigam, Danow Bogund, Srandoo, TNPora, Kawakibazar, Qaimoo, Thokerpora, Rampora, Redwanibala and Redwani Payeen Panchayats, were today taken up and the programme witnessed enthusiastic and vibrant participation of stakeholders. BARAMULLA: The Baramulla District witnessed a remarkable display of community engagement and awareness through the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, the extensive campaign aimed to illuminate the general public about ongoing government welfare schemes driving the comprehensive development of the region.
Furthermore, various camps were organized during the Yatra programs across the panchayats and blocks of the Sub-Division. These encompassed health camps for TB screening, Sickle Cell Anaemia awareness, soil health checking among other services.
ANANTNAG: The transformative initiative, ‘Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yarta’, aimed at fostering holistic development, has gained significant momentum in Anantnag by successfully covering 160 Panchayats so far marking a crucial milestone in its mission to uplift communities and promote sustainable progress.
