AKHNOOR: Police on Tuesday arrested two persons and recovered 60 gram heroin from their possession.
According to a report, a police party of Police Station Akhnoor laid a Naka at Khuga Morh, Akhnoor and stopped one Swift Dezire car (JMU-BH-0476) driven by Mushraf Pravez son of Kabir Hussain resident of Arhi, Tehsil Mendhar and side seater namely Yasir Hussain son of Tanvir Hussain resident of Guldh, Tehsil Men-dhar, District Poonch.
On search of the vehicle, police recovered 60 gram heroin from their possession.
Both were arrested and a case vide FIR No. 125/2016 under section 8/22/23 NDPS Act was registered.
