KATHUA: A large number of people from different areas met the senior PDP leader Deepak Raina and asked him to bring their problems to the notice of Chief Minister for remedial measures.
The people told him that the sectoral officers in the office of Deputy Commissioner have to conduct the tours of different Tehsils and villages due to which they remain away from office. People who come from far off places have to go back empty handed after wasting time and money.
They demanded that a schedule of their visit be circulated and pasted on the notice board so that the people become aware of the dates when the officer whom they want to contact, is available in the office or not.
Deepak Raina said people have lot of expectations from the present government and it is the responsibility of the government officials to come up to their expectations and mitigate the problems faced by the people. He appealed to Chief Minister to take action against those who are not found in office during public hours.
