Teachers call for permanent solution on payment for salary

UDHAMPUR: The two days Abhiyas Varag of All Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh Teachers Federation under the banner of Akhil Bharatiya Rashtriya Shaikshik Mahasangh concluded at Youth Hostel Patnitop (Udhampur) under the chairmanship of Mahendra Kapoor, Rashtriya Sangathan Mantri , Shaikshik Mahasangh and Jagdish Koushik Uttar Kshetra Pramukh . In two days Abhiyas Varag, about 62 delegates of State body, district body and zonal bodies participated . The main agenda of this Abhiyas Varag was to aware the workers at ground level about their responsibilities, duties towards the society and nation.
In the two days Abhiyas Varag, total seven sessions on different issues /themes were held.
The beginning session was inaugurated by Mahendra Kapoor and Jagdish Koushik
The second and fourth sessions were presided over by Mahendra Kapoor. He discussed briefly about the ethics and system of working and the different programmes of the organisation like the Gurubandhan Karyakaram, Kartavya Bodh Karyakaram, Shashvat Jeevan Mulya Karyakaram, Akhil Bharatiya Shiksha Bhushan Shikshak Samman, Workshops, Teachers Conference, Karyakarta Abhiyas Varag, etc.
The third and fifth sessions were presided over by Jagdish Koushik, Uttar Kshetra Pramukh on the topics Working System of Organisation and the problems of teachers .
The teachers from across the State raised the issue of permanent solution of payment of salary to the teachers/masters working under SSA/RMSA schemes, transparent transfer policy, change of primary classes textbooks, free teachers from non teaching assignments etc.
The concluding session was presided over by Mahendra Kapoor Rashtriya Sangathan Mantri Shaikshik Mahasangh.
Maheshwar Prasad, State Working President of AJKLTF also spoek on the occasion. Rattan Sharma State General Secretary was the Stage Secretary during the Abhiyas Varag, Kartar Chand State Secretary, Mohan Singh State President and Bhushan S Verma Chairman were also present.
