UDHAMPUR: In a bizarre incident, a teacher allegedly beat up a 11th class student in Majlata on Thursday.
According to a report, in a strange incident, a teacher allegedly beat up a 11 class student mercilessly in school. However student was referred to nearby PHC from where he was further referred to District Hospital Udhampur being critical. Injured was identified as Rohit Singh son of Hari Lal resident of village Plater, Majlata in Udhampur. The moment incident of beating flared up public and local people showed their great concern towards erring teacher and urged the police to lodge FIR against the teacher. Majalta Police has registered a case against the teacher and launched the investigation.
