JAMMU: Tarandeep Singh selected in Indian team for upcoming World Bench Press championship held at Sun city South Africa from May 20 to 27, 2023.
Tarandeep was selected on the basis of his performance in recently held National Bench Press Championship held at Aurangabad where he won gold in Junior Category in 93 kg category.
JKP inspector Vinod Sharma, Asstt. Sub Inspector Vijay Sharma, Ajay Sharma General Secretary of the All J K UT Powerlifting Association and Veteran Powerlifting of JK UT Umesh Raina appreciated the achievement of the player and wish him good luck for the World Bench Press championship.
