KATHUA: The stray animals are a great nuisance in the city and are always seen at busy places and Chowks.
The bulls and cows standing in the middle of road invite accidents, and create traffic jam on the roads. Sometimes they injure pedestrians due to which the children, women and aged persons get stuck.
At times they indulge in bull-fight and completely block the road. The matter was brought to the notice of Muncipal Committee by the people but to no purpose.
The menace was brought to the notice of District Development Commissioner Kathua Ramesh Kumar who appreciated the peoples’ concern and said that he is already alive to this problem and soon action will be taken in this direction.
