SOSDEA extends support to clerical staff’s strike

JAMMU: A meeting of the representatives of All J and K Stationery and Office Supplies Department Employees Association (SOSDEA) was held under the leadership of Babu Hussain Malik, President of the Association including Seva Ram Rathore, Uday Singh Pathania, Manjit Singh, Veerji Koul,rDalip Singh, Kuldeep Kumar, Jatwant Singh, Shavinder Kumar, Arvind Kumar, Chandu Lai, Mohd Iqbal, Pavnesh Kumar, Ram krishan, Moti Ram, Madan Lai, Abdul Qayoom and Pardeep Kumax.
In the meeting it was unanimously decided to support the Pen Down Strike on 16th and 17th November, 2016 and to assemble in front of Press Club, Jammu on 17th Nov 2016 on the call given by Jammu Kashmir and Ladakh All Departments Clerical Staff Association to implement the orders of the High Court in letter and spirit regarding removal of pay anomalies of the clerical cadre at an earliest.
The other demands include removal of pay anomalies of clerical cadre by giving Grade of 4,000-6,000 to Junior Assistant and 4,500-7,000 to Senior Assistant and 5,500-9,000 to Head Assistant and stenographers, DPC in all the departments after every six months and reorganisation of the clerical cadre outside the Civil Secretariat on the pattern of Civil Secretariat, implementation of the Seventh Pay Commission on the pattern of Central Government in the State, increase of medical allowance from Rs. 300 to Rs. 2000 PM, dislocation allowance to all the officials who are posted outside their home district and regularisation of daily wagers/Adhoc/contractual employees/Anganwari workers, Helpers and Asha Workers.
Babu Hussain Malik appealed to all the clerical cadre employees to come on a common platform to get their due rights and to take the struggle to its logical end.
