JAMMU: Condemning Pakistan’s role in targeting civilian population along the border (IB) and (LoC), activists of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM) staged protest against Pakistan here at Kachi Chawni Chowk under the leadership of party’s State President Dr Suresh Ajay Magotra.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Magotra said that Pakistan is so frustrated with the surgical strikes which had awakened world against terrorism.
He said that country is behind the soldiers who are teaching lesson to Pakistan Rangers and army. This is our strength that we are among strong nations who can carry out surgical strikes proving the quality of our weaponry and skilled army men.
Later, protestors burned the effigy of Pakistan and raised slogans against it.
Tarun Sharma, Vikas Choudhary, Karan Sharma, Ajay Vaid, Ramneek Singh, Sunny Sangotra, Rahul Vaid, Vikas Sambyal, Adv. Varun Kotwal, Jeevan Sharma, Ishant Gupta, Ashish Sharma, Sidhant Singh Manhas, Vijay Rasual, Sodhya Sharma, Sourab Gupta, Deepak Pandey, Gulshan Bhagat, Kapil Mahajan and Rinku Choudhary were also present.
Meanwhile a protest against Pakistan was held by BJP District Jammu here at Gangyal. The protest was led by Baldev Singh Billawaria District President BJP Jammu.
A large number of BJP activists along with locals burned the Pakistani flag to show their resentment against killings of civilian population.
Lauding the strong stand taken by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in giving a befitting reply Pakistan, Billawaria said that Pakistan has become frustrated due to tough action of Indian forces at the borders and also inside PoK to put a halt on its nefarious designs against India.
