JAMMU: Kathua District Indian Style Wrestling Championship, being organised under the banner of J and K Indian Style Wrestling Association, shall take place on 5th November at Bowelian, behind Ram Lella Ground, Kathua.
This was decided in a meeting held under the chairmanship of President of the Association, Shiv Kumar Sharma. The weigh-in for those participating wrestlers shall take place at 10:00 AM, followed by the bouts beginning at 11:00 AM.
The competition shall be held in the seven weight categories of up to 55 kg, 61 kg, 75 kg, 85 kg, 97 kg and above up to 120 kg. Those winner wrestlers at the district level shall compete for the top honours in the State championship.
