JAMMU: JK Public School Kunjwani Principal S.K Singh will represent the state of Jammu and Kashmir at the “Convention to Empower Schools Against Child Sexual Abuse” on Saturday, 12th November 2016 at IIT Delhi as the Guest of Honour.
Singh is invited to support the noble endeavour
and encourage the movement to build a safe and secure future for the next generation
He will be addressing and presenting a paper on “Effect of CBSE circular on POCSO Act- 2012 in CBSE schools”.
The convention is continuum to the Focus Group Discussion on ‘Abuse Against Children and Ways to Combat the Issue’ held at IIT, Delhi in the month of July. The convention is conducted by IIT New Delhi with Non-profit Trust SAI, Social Axiom Insignia. The convention is being conducted to make everyone understand that children are the ‘supreme asset of the nation’ and empowerment of children can be the single most impactful step that can be taken to challenge and face the issue.
