JAMMU: Regional Sericulture Research Station (RSRS) Miran Sahib Jammu, Central Silk Board, Ministry of Textiles, organized a programme here on Tuesday to celebrate completion of 70 years of independence namely ‘Colors of Independence’.
The programme was inaugurated by MLA Jammu, Rajesh Gupta along with BJP District President Baldev Singh Billawaria and District Secretary Vageesh Gupta Bharti, Advocate. After the inauguration the reputed citizens of Jammu expressed their feelings and views regarding independence on the Khaadi canvas with colored pens, and paint. After them many citizens and students express their feelings and view on Khaadi canvas regarding 70 years.
Dr. Anil Dhar, Joint Director RSRS Jammu expressed gratitude towards Baldev Singh Billawaria for their full support to organise the programme from 9th to 15th August 2016 at different locations each day to involved maximum persons in this programme to celebrate completion of 70 years of Independence.
