A total of 19 schools are put on fire in Kashmir valley by the miscreants till Monday midnight following the protest of killing of Burhan Wani a terrorist in the month of July. But our investigation agencies are not able to find even a single culprit of massive destruction. No one is taking the responsibility of these attacks. Burning of school is not a minor issue as education is the base of every society and if these miscreants are not stopped then it will be a huge loss to our younger generation. One side we are sensitizing the people about right to education and at same time by silently watching the burning of schools continuously in valley we are restricting the rights of valley children. as we know that schools are closed there since July n now when there are some signs of normalcy are observed by people n they are hoping that schools will be resumed then they are going to face a new problem where their children will study because according to sources near about 5000 students are enrolled in 19 schools which are now turn into ashes. The burning of school not a new issue in Kashmir valley this was also happen in 1990s but it takes years to build those schools and many shifted to other places for the education of their children. Moving to other place is not a solution to the problem as this is a clear cut violation of human right i.e. right to education with other human rights violation. But the victims of these violations are minor, innocent children’s who do not have their say in public and not able to raise their voice. So it’s our duty that we all should stand against this massive destruction which has a long run effect on our younger generation. Investigation agencies and police also have responsibility to be more vigilant so that no more school will be put on fire by protestors and stop them who re playing with the future of younger generation.
