Dear Editor,
The present generation of Kashmiris has only known and grown in the culture of violence, coercion and intimidation. So, a new phase of militancy, exemplified by the likes of Burhan Wani, has just begun with a pan-Kashmir reach. The trust deficit has further alienated youth from the mainstream Indian democracy and the continuous support by Pakistan is adding fuel to the fire. A multi-strategic approach has to be followed honestly, in word and spirit, to maintain the unity of India and its rich diversity. There is one Kashmir and one India and both are inseparable. Let this be carved out clearly in the hearts of all.
