SAMBA: Yougesh Sharma bagged gold in under-19 year category in the Samba District Cycling Championship, organised by the J and K Cycling Association at Vijaypur, here on Sunday. The second place in this group went to Karan Digpal while Makhan Singh remained third.
Similarly, in senior under-19 girls category, Anjali Choudhary bagged first position, followed by Manmeet Kour, who secured second place.
Earlier, the competition was held under the supervision of Association General Secretary, Om Parkash. Also present were coach, Rahul Kumar Mehra and senior national player, Rajnish Sharma and Prince Choudhary.
Others Results: Boys Under-4: Lovejeet Singh 1st, Gagandeep Singh 2nd and Nikhil Randhawa 3rd. Under-17: Navdeep Singh 1st, Kanhiya Lal Sharma 2nd and Shubham Digpal 3rd.
