Sahodaya Inter-school Football Championship: JK Public School Kunjwani wins gold in u-14, u-17

JAMMU: JK Public School, Kunjwani won gold medal in both under-14 and under-17 CBSE Inter- School Sahodaya Football Championship hosted by Heritage School and Delhi Public School, Kathua respectively. Various CBSE schools participated in this event.
In under-14 category, JK Public School defeated Mount Litera Zee School by 5-0, Sainik School Nagrota by 8-7, Nagbani School by 3-1 in semi-finals and BSF Paloura by 2-1 in the final match.
While in under-17 category, JK Public School smashed JP World by 2-0 in first match, GD Goenka by 4-0 in semi-finals and DPS Kathua by 2-0 in the final match. All the teams played with great zeal and enthusiasm.
Principal, S.K Singh appreciated the efforts of the team and said that JK Public School, Kunjwani is leaving no stone unturned in the field of sports and in future as well they will achieve great heights in bringing good name to school.
The school management and staff congratulated the team and Football Coach of the School, Elijha Sotra for winning the tournament and motivated them to reach new milestones in future.
