RAJOURI: Rotary club Rajouri today facilitated Lokesh Bakshi on being elected as Assistant Governor from Rajouri for the year 2016-17.
In an impressive function organised at Rajouri, Lokesh was facilitated by Zonal Chairman K.K Langer, the function was also attended by District President Rotary Club Rajouri Amardeep Singh , besides other members of Rotary Club Rajouri.
While addressing the Rotarians present in the facilitation ceremony, Langer said that three new Assistant Governors have been elected from Jammu Kashmir Zone and Lokesh Bakshi has been appointed from Rajouri. Langer also threw a light on the contribution of Lokesh in rotary club when he was the District President.
Meanwhile Lokesh while expressing his heartfelt gratitude towards all the Rotarians present there, assured them that he will work with more zeal and enthusiasm in future and will serve the society in a better way. It is worthwhile to mention here that Rotary Club Rajouri under its project ‘Gift of Life’ has sent hundreds of BPL children for open heart surgery to Escorts Hospital Delhi bearing all the expenses, besides carrying other noble causes.
