Rising prices exposing inefficiency of Modi led Govt: JWAM
STATE TIMES NEWS
JAMMU: Expressing serious concern on the uncontrolled inflation especially frequent hike in the price of petroleum products including petrol and diesel, Jammu West Assembly Movement (JWAM) on Sunday said that rising prices of essentials is the glaring example of inefficiency of Modi led Central dispensation which had come to power on the plank of controlling sky-rocketing prices and bringing Ache Din. Taking serious note on the hike in petrol and diesel prices every now and then, President JWAM Sunil Dimple warned the government of calling Bharat Bandh after consultations with other political parties if the trend of making these petroleum products dearer is not stopped at the earliest.
He along with traders, common people and JWAM activists held protest rally against the NDA Government for its failure to control the rising prices of petrol, diesel, vegetables and other essential commodities besides unavailability of ration at the Ration depots.
Protesters also burned the effigies of the BJP led Central Government.
Addressing the protestors, Sunil Dimple said that Narendra Modi Government has failed to deliver in the two years of governance and all the dreams shown to common man during the Lok Sabha elections have proven to be hoax. The anti-people policy of Modi Government has put BJP workers and supporters into a piquant situation as they have no answer to justify manifold increase in people’s hardships due to directionless governance.
