JAMMU:Reserved Categori-es Socio-Religious Organisa-tions and Retired Employees Forum sought action against the miscreants involved in the disturbance of peaceful rally of reserved categories at Samba on 24th September. Talking to reporters here on Tuesday, the representatives of Reserved Categories Socio-Religious Organisations said that the rally for constitutional rights was organised after taking due permission from the local administration but few miscreants tried to disrupt the rally.
The complaint against miscreants was lodged with the concerned SHO of Samba Police Station but till date no action has been taken by police, they said.
The peaceful atmosphere in the whole Jammu region will be disturbed if remedial measures are not taken and culprits who tried to disrupt peaceful rally are taken to task, they asserted.
They urged the Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti to intervene into the matter and also advise Chief Secretary to implement the Apex Court order of stay of Division Bench order of J and K High Court. They also appealed to Chief Minister to immediately call meeting of Enforcement Board on monitoring and implementation of reservation in J and K.
The press conference was addressed by Sham Lal Bassan, President Dalit Chetna Manch and others present were Mohinder Bhagat, ML Banali, Bodh Raj Bhagat, Prof G.L Thappa, R.L Dogra, Bihari Lal, Bharat Hans, Satpaul, Bahadur Lal, Dr. Kuldeep Motton, Prof. Kali Dass, H.R Phonsa, Dr. Vijay Shivgotra, Joginder Kumar, P.C Atri, Prabh Dayal, Narinder Dutt, Parshotm Thappa, Des Raj, Somnath Taroch, Kesar Singh, Puran Chand, P.R Chouhan, Dr. Haridyal, Loknath, Daya Ram, M.R Bangotra and Charan Dass.
