STATE TIMES NEWS
JAMMU: Seeking immediate registration of FIR against BJP MLA R.S Pathania for assaulting a teacher inside the class room in HSS Basantgarh, alongwith his armed gunmen, the JKNPP on Tuesday lambasted the district administration Udhampur for sheltering the rowdy MLA at the behest of their political masters.
Addressing a press conference here, the JKNPP leaders Rajesh Padgotra, Provincial President, Gagan Partap Singh State Secretary and Khajoor Singh Joint Secretary respectively appealed to the Chief Minister to take due cognisance of the criminal antecedents of the notorious MLA who was hell bent to breed tension, foster acrimony and cause disorder in Ramnagar by his extremely culpable conduct.
The JKNPP leader Rajesh Padgotra while accusing the BJP MLA of indulging in hooligamstic form of politics said that he often intruded into government schools and harassed the siblings and other relations of JKNPP leaders who were working as government teachers.
He pointed out that on one such occasion on June 21, 2017, the said MLA intruded into 9th class of HSS Basantgarh where Pritam Singh Teacher was taking the class. Khajoor Singh, while condemning the highly abominable and criminal conduct of the MLA, regretted non initiation of any action against the delinquent MLA or registration of FIR against him.
Seeking immediate registration of FIR against the MLA for assault on teacher, the fact of which was duly corroborated by dozens of eye witnesses, the JKNPP leaders warned to issue a regular protest calendar against the govt and police authorities in case culprit was not brought to book.
